Bruce Andersen CPA, MBA, MS (Tax), Founder and Managing Director of BTA Cannabis CPA Tax, and Thomas Andersen, Co-Founder of BTA Cannabis CPA Tax and VP of Operations, are proud to announce their respective selections to key committees of the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) for the 2025 term.
The State Regulations Committee is dedicated to analyzing state-level cannabis regulations and developing best practices for the sector. Thomas Andersen, who has a long history of work on state and local cannabis policy, including contributions to the 2007 Los Angeles Interim Control Ordinance (ICO) – 2012 Proposition D in Los Angeles, and 2019 Proposition G in Kern County – contributes his expertise in field operations and compliance support to the SRC.
The NCIA Banking and Finance Committee focuses on advancing financial best practices and addressing banking challenges within the cannabis industry. Bruce Andersen brings over 30 years of CPA experience, including more than a decade specializing in cannabis finance and operations, to his role on the Banking and Finance Committee.
